Week 16: Straining to feel the baby kick
Have you ever strained to hear the distant whistle of a train, faint as it may be? Sitting there, you try as hard as you can to grasp at such a tiny far-away sound...it's just like those first faint fetal flutters. You may feel a bump, but as soon as you've processed the sensation, it is as far away as a distant memory and you find yourself laying there for ages just waiting, listening for the next whistle blow...
