Week 30: Toni Braxton-Taylor Hicks
I've started to get a ton of Braxton Hicks contractions in the last week (or at least I'm much better able to identify them now!) My whole belly tightens up for a few seconds...I guess my uterine muscles are practicing for all the work they'll be doing soon. Of course my husband Mike, being the goof-ball that he is, calls them Toni Braxton Taylor Hicks Contractions...which inspired this illustration.

Andy calls them Toni Braxton-Hicks contractions too! He couldn't think of a good Hicks though-- Taylor Hicks is perfect.
